Aloha! I’m Kirin, and I’m a visual development artist with over five years of experience in the animation industry. A graduate of ArtCenter College of Design (BFA 2018, Pasadena) I specialize in environment and set design, props, color scripts, and background design and painting, supporting the visual development process from concept to production with clarity and creativity.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with leading studios such as DreamWorks Animation and Nickelodeon, contributing to projects including The Boss Baby: Back in Business, Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, and Rugrats. My experience spans both 2D and 3D productions, with a strong emphasis on storytelling, visual cohesion, and collaborative design.

I currently split my time between Los Angeles and Taipei. This cross-cultural perspective informs my work, allowing me to blend the visual traditions and sensibilities of both East and West in thoughtful, contemporary ways.
